so let me get this straight. fandom is deciding that using Pocahontas, which is essentially a slur and a stereotype towards Native American people, is easier than using the name Connor. Which is his given English name. instead of Ratonhake:ton. in the same post, we are using a very real mental disease on the Autism spectrum as reasoning behind why people are upset about the disgusting racism in this fucking fandom.

which is essentially like going up to someone and saying “Hey, I understand that you have a native traditional name, and you also have an English name which is incredibly easy to spell and pronounce for me, but instead of using either I am going to call you by a horrible racist slur. how does nigger or chink sound? Also if you’re upset about this, I am going to debase your argument by saying that you have a very serious and very real mental disease which I dont actually understand or have ever researched but I am going to put into gif form in order to better mock you and everyone who is an identifying Asperger’s sufferer!”
